My Whole Food Diet

Hi guys, today is my third week of a whole food diet. If you haven’t been following my journey you might want to check my previous posts about Whole Food Vegan Diet and What Can You Eat In A Whole Food Vegan Diet?

Nevertheless, I have been very consistent about this decision. The only time I sort of cheated was last week when I had homemade fried potatoes with mushrooms and a snack bar at a restaurant with my friend, I know I said no fried foods but this one was so good. Temptations, temptations. I mean look at that (still drooling).

I think once in a while it is fair to have these kinds of foods. However, I did stay away from sugar and processed foods. Added a small bowl of salad and a small amount of  different types of beans to my diet almost everyday.

Things I noticed:

  • Beans fill me up so fast that I don’t even crave unhealthy food.
  • I don’t feel stuffed even though sometimes I overeat
  • I feel lighter
  • I haven’t gained
  • lost a pound
