Let’s talk about mung bean and its importance in your diet. As you may already know, protein is an important source for our body, it is a macronutrient that builds and repairs body’s tissues, helps make enzymes, hormones and other body chemicals. Mung bean contains 23.9 g of protein. It is one of the most common beans used in Central Asia. The main producer of this amazing bean is India, later spread to China, Africa, and other Asian countries. Fortunately, you can find this type of bean in the United States as well.
